The unfortunate and sad trixie

The toymakers obviously have part-time jobs as prophets, judging by the doll.

Anyways... you did an astounding job here.  You caught the feeling of growing despair very well, despite having only 5 panels from the mother's death to the guard's reply.

That said, the guards are too still and stiff;  there was no feeling of motion from them.  You also didn't give Trixie's parents cutie marks.  All in all, however, I enjoyed it.
